Widely regarded as one of the foremost songwriters of her generation, Suzanne Vega emerged as a leading figure of the folk revival of the early 1980s. Accompanying herself on acoustic guitar, Vega sang what has been called contemporary folk or neo-folk songs of her own creation in Greenwich Village clubs.

Since the release of her self-titled, critically acclaimed 1985 debut album, she has given sold-out concerts in many of the world’s best-known venues. Martin Turner and his band return to the concert stages during 2026 for another evening of classic Wishbone Ash music.

It will be a celebration of a band at the height of their powers.

This will be the band’s 13th Friars Aylesbury appearance the first of which was on 29 May 1981 when they played in the Aston Hall which was the small hall in the good old Friars Phase Three Civic Centre.

This show will feature material from across the band’s extensive career and hopefully, new music from their forthcoming album, currently expected next year.

Steve Hackett ’s timeless guitar-work was woven throughout Genesis’ classic 70’s catalogue of albums. In recent years he and his outstanding touring line-up of Nad Sylvan (vocals), Jonas Reingold (bass, backing vocals) Rob Townsend (saxophone, flutes, additional keyboards), Roger King (keyboards) and Craig Blundell (drums and percussion) have brought many of these albums back to great acclaim. For the 2026 tour there will be two changes to the band. Lalle Larsson has taken over on keyboards from Roger and Felix Lehrmann will take over from Craig on drums. Steve Hackett joined Genesis at the beginning of 1971. He quickly gained an international reputation as the guitarist in the band’s classic line-up alongside Peter Gabriel, Tony Banks, Mike Rutherford and Phil Collins. Steve’s intricate guitar work was a key element of Genesis albums from Nursery Cryme (1971) to Wind And Wuthering (1977) including the classic Selling England By The Pound . After leaving Genesis at the end of 1977, Steve ’s solo career, which now spans more than 30 albums, has demonstrated his extraordinary versatility with both electric and acoustic guitar. Steve is renowned as both an immensely talented and innovative rock musician and a virtuoso classical guitarist and composer and this was recognised in 2010 when he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. He has also worked alongside Steve Howe of YES in the supergroup GTR. Hackett ’s compositions take influences from many genres, including jazz, classical and blues. For his studio works The Night Siren (2017) and At The Edge Of Light (2019) Hackett explored the influences of world music. Recent tours have seen Hackett celebrate his time with Genesis including a spectacular 2018 tour in which he realised a long-held ambition to perform the works of Genesis live with his band and an orchestra. Justin Hayward OBE, the vocalist, lead guitarist and composer for the iconic Moody Blues, has had hits including the masterful Nights in White Satin, Tuesday Afternoon, Question, and The Voice. The Moody Blues sold 70 million albums worldwide, with 18 platinum and gold LPs. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.

The tour is named for one of Justin’s many compositions for The Moody Blues, which was released as a single 55 years ago and featured on the band’s seventh album Every Good Boy Deserves Favour - also released in 1971. The album reached No. 1 on the UK album chart and stayed at No. 2 for three weeks in the US.

The Story In Your Eyes Tour represents a rare chance for Justin’s fans to connect with one of music’s keenest talents and to hear the music that he loves, presented with a truly personal touch.

Justin has also had an incredible solo career with albums such as Songwriter, Night Flight, Moving Mountains and Classic Blue with Mike Batt, and The View From the Hill. Released in 2006, Back to Black became the album that transformed Amy Winehouse from a rising British talent into a global cultural force. Released in 1987, Popped In Souled Out was the album that introduced Wet Wet Wet to not only a national audience, but a global one too.

It reached No.1 on the UK Albums Chart and featured the hit singles “Wishing I Was Lucky”, “Sweet Little Mystery”, “Angel Eyes” and “Temptation”. The record went multi-platinum in the UK and established the band as one of the key British acts of the late 1980s, whilst breaking into the Billboard Charts in the USA.
